Dipl.-Ing. Olaf Behrendt advises our clients on issues relating to German, European and international patent law. He was admitted as a German patent attorney in 2018 and has also been admitted to the European Patent Office since 2022. With his degree in electrical engineering and information technology and his experience in the fields of “production” and “research and development” in an internationally active group, he contributes a broad range of specialist knowledge and in-depth expertise to the area of intellectual property. He advises both national and international clients and is characterized by his ability to precisely analyze complex technical issues and to evaluate them in a legally sound manner. His main areas of practice for clients include the drafting and defense of patent applications as well as opposition, cancellation and nullity proceedings, freedom-to-operate analyses, searches and expert opinions.
