In 1988, Josef Schneiders founded a law firm specialising in law and technology as well as competition law, intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyright) and product liability law. Based on his engineering studies in electrical engineering, Josef Schneiders focused early on the combination of law and technology in the legal field. Together with Arne Behrendt, he later developed the law firm Schneiders & Behrendt into one of the leading law firms for all areas of intellectual property law. Today, he specialises in trademark law, product safety and product liability as well as contract law. He advises national and international clients, including numerous municipalities and medium-sized companies.
